Three Layer Lasagna Topped Béchamel Sauce & Cheddar, a side of Cheddar Topped Garlic Breads for Dipping Obviously, & the Healthy Option Side Salad
Total cost £9.00 that's to make 4 large Portions, at only £2.25 each and my dishes are large,
Ingredients
750g Beef Mince
1000g Garlic Passata Bolognese, or 3 tins of Italian Chopped Tomatoes,
12 Lasagna Sheets, fresh if you can get them
500g Béchamel Sauce,
1 tblsp Garlic Granules
1 tblsp Italian mixed herbs
½ tblsp Sea Salt
½ tblsp Cracked Black Pepper
½ tspn Smoked Paprika
Parsley for Garnish
Directions
Start by dry frying your beef mince, add the garlic & Italian mixed herbs,
Once fully cooked add the garlic Passata Bolognese sauce, cover and simmer on low for around 20 minutes, Turn your oven to 180ºC
Now start by filling the bottom of your Lasagna dishes with a layer of the mince, not a thick layer,
Now add a layer of Lasagna Sheet, do not overlap dry sheets, you can only overlap fresh lasagna sheets,
Repeat this step three times, until you have 3 layer of meat and pasta,
Now top with a generous amount of Béchamel Sauce, I like to add a sprinkle of smoked paprika to the top of the Béchamel Sauce then top with Cheddar,
Place them into a preheated oven at 180ºC until its bubbling and golden brown,
Service with Cheddar Topped Garlic Bread Slices & a delicious Healthy side salad,
Happy Cooking Folks
