Sprout Soup, (Bottom of the Fridge Soup)
I'm Soup making again I know this one is going to be controversial,
Who said it can't be done? Sprout Soup I don't mind sharing my concoction,
Here goes,
Everything is Caramelised in Garlic butter and a dash of Olive Oil, with salt and pepper, until completely soft, then add 1ltr of stock bring to the boil and simmer for 30mins, Blend and Season to taste,
Ingredients
20 Sprouts, and the Sprout Leaves, 2 Carrots, 2 Potatoes, 1 Red Onion, 3 Garlic Cloves, 1tdp Marjoram, Basil, Oregano, Thyme, 1tbsp Tomato Puree and two Vegetable Stock Cubes, and of course Sea Salt and Cracked Black Pepper to taste, Finished with a Dollop of Butter to make it smooth, and Topped with a Grated Strong Cheddar, Served with Toasted Ciabatta
It tastes absolutely delicious, It's definitely worth a try.
