Now this is just for fun, but they do taste absolutely delicious, Big & Little kids will absolutely love these,
My Delicious Batter
120g Plain flour
2 x tsp baking powder
1½ tsp Sea Salt
½ tsp Cracked Black Pepper
½ tsp Garlic Granules
½ Smoked Paprika
250ml whole milk
Plain flour for coating the Spam
Directions
Cut your Spam into Chunky Sticks,
Combine all the batter ingredients and whisk until smooth, Bring your oil upto 175ºC
Drench your Spam in flour then in the Batter several times until its completely covered with no gaps, as you want the oil to stay on the outside,
Stab a skewer into it and, Deep Fry until golden brown, if you coat the Fritters correctly very little oil gets through, make sure you hold it off the bottom for a few seconds to avoid it sticking,
These are absolutely delicious
