Salmon Cut Chunked Beef & Tomato Sausage, Sautéed Garlic & Red Onions in Butter, Carrots, Cabbage, Baked Bean, Casserole,


Served inside a Beef Dripping Yorkshire Pudding, on Bed of Cheddar & Parsley Infused Mashed Potato,


Total Cost £16.48 that's 8 portions that's £2.06 per portion,


I Recommend Buying a Beef Roasting Joint and Dice it yourself as you will get more meat for your money,


Ingredients


1.2kg Salmon Cut Beef Roasting Joint

2.5kg Red Potatoes (Perfect for mash)

8 x Pork & Tomato Sausage

2 x Large Red Onion

6 x Carrots

1 x Whole Cabbage

4 x Garlic Cloves

2 x Knorr Beef Stock Pot's

1 x tblsp Onion Granules

1 x tspn Mixed Herbs

2 x tblsp Plain Flour

1.5ltr Boiling Water

1 x tspn Sea Salt

1 x tspn Cracked Black Pepper

2 x tblsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2 x tblsp Butter

2 x Tins Baked Beans

250g Cheddar

8 x Beef Dripping Yorkshire Puddings


Directions


Turn on your slow cooker, set I on high heat, Chop the Cabbage and Carrots & add them to the slow Cooker, Using 1.5ltr Boiling water and the knorr stock pot's add them to the slow cooker and stir the vegetables, add salt and pepper, Add the lid,


The Beef


Start with a hot frying pan add the chunked Beef with the olive oil, add the garlic & Onion Granules, cook until brown, and has a chared texture, add a little salt and pepper,


Using a different pan, add the red onion and fry in a little butter until Caramelised,


Add the onions to the beef and stir, until it's all combined,


Now add 2 tblsp plain flour to the beef and stir until completely combined and it should vanish,


Now add half pint Boiling water to the beef and stir until rich and smooth,


It's time to add it to the Slow-cooker and stir well,


The Sausage


Cooked in the Air Fryer until fully cooked, 10 mins @ 180ºC I do it this way so all the fat drains from the pork sausage as you don't want this in your Casserole,


Add the Sausage to the Slow-cooker stir well,


Now everything should be in your Slow-cooker set it for around 5 hour's


The Mashed Potato


Peal Chop and boil 2.5kg Red Potatoes, once soft add 2 x tblsp Butter and Mash, then add 2 x tblsp dried Parsley & 250g Grated Cheddar, Mix well, salt and pepper to taste,


Try not to eat them,


Serve the mash First top with the Beef Dripping Yorkshire Pudding, & Fill with the Casserole

This was seriously Delish. I omitted the Yorkshire pudding as it’s something we haven’t acquired a taste for. Substituted fresh home made bread for mopping up the plate.
