Ribeye Steak Cottage Pie, Cheddar Infused Mashed Potato,


So I know this one sounds expensive, but it's not, Total cost £16.65, at £4.16 per portion for the 4 large Bowls or if you have single Portion Casserole Pot's it will do 6 Portions, at £2.77 per portion,


So it's fantastic on a budget for the whole family, and you don't have to use Ribeye any Steak will do,


Ingredients

4 x Steaks any of your choice 300g per Steak

2kg Potato

250g Cheddar

2 x Garlic Cloves Minced

4 x tblsp Hendersons Relish

2 knorr extra tasty Beef Stock Pot's

1½ tspn Salt

1½ tspn Cracked Black Pepper

3 x tblsp Onion Gravy

1.2 ltr Boiling Water


Directions


The Steak


Dice the Steak into small pieces, add to a hot frying pan with a little Oliver Oil, with the Garlic, Salt & Pepper,


Cook on a medium heat until brown and tender, add 2 tblsp of plain flour, combine until it's completely disappeared,


Move the Steak to your slow cooker, add the boiling water, Knorr Stock pot's and set on high for 3 Hours, or if you have a pressure cooker set it for an hour,


The Potatoes


Peel and boil the Potatoes, once soft add 2 tblsp of Butter, and mash, once complete add half the bag of Cheddar and mix together, add salt and pepper to taste,


Once the Steak is tender and falling a part add the Onion Gravy Granules to make it extra delicious,


Fill you Pie dishes half way with the steak Filling, then top with the Cheddar mash,


add more Cheddar to the top, place them in the oven at 200ºC until the Cheese is Golden Brown & Bubbling, Garnish with Parsley,


Serve with Yorkshire Pudding and Seasonal Vegetables,
