Philly Cheese Steak, Cooked in Rosemary Garlic Butter, Served on a Toasted Ciabatta, Topped with Gouda Cheese, With a side of Piri Piri Cheddar Topped Fries,
So in an effort to make Delicious Meals that the whole family can enjoy, with a budget in mind, The 8 inch Ciabatta can be cut in half to feed 8 people if necessary, or 4 really hungry people as they are huge,
The Ribeye at £19.40 for 908g and the Rump at only £8.99 for 900g it's a massive saving just by swapping for a cheaper cut of meat,
I Compared both Ribeye & Rump to make a Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, now if I'm honest the outcome was delicious with both cuts of meat, and for the price difference, The clear winner is Rump Steak,
Ingredients
Ribeye 908g optional £19.40
Rump 900g optional £8.99
4 x 8inch Ciabatta Rolls
8 x Gouda Cheese Slices
4 x tblsp Butter
4 x Garlic Cloves
1 x Sprig of Rosemary
Sea Salt and Cracked Black Pepper to taste,
Directions
Place your Steak in the freezer for around 30 minutes, this will firm the Steak and make it easier to slice thinly,
Use a large frying pan with a lid set to one side, turn it onto the highest heat, add the sliced Steak and constantly stir, once the moisture is cooked off, now add the Butter Garlic Sea Salt and Cracked Black Pepper,
Cook the Steak until its just Caramelised and tender, but with crispy edges,
Reduce the heat to minimum, separate the Steaks into Ciabatta size Portions add two Slices of Gouda to the top and place on the lid,
When the cheese has melted add it to your Toasted Ciabatta, and enjoy
And Don't forget to dip your Ciabatta into the Garlic Butter in the pan it's Delicious,
