Italian Meatball Subs, in Delicious Fluffy Hearty Italian Metro Rolls,


Served with Garlic Butter Italian Herb Baby Potatoes,


With a side of Delicious Rainbow Salad.


Absolutely delicious the flavours were unbelievable.


Total cost £16.30, this will feed 8 people at £2.03 Per meal it's a good value for money meal, and you get plenty, even left-over Meatball Bolognese for another day.


Ingredients


750g Minced Beef

8 x Metro Rolls Hearty Italian

500g Minced Beef, to for meat balls

1 x Large White Onion

1 x tblsp Garlic Purée or 6 Cloves Minced

1 x tblsp Tomato Purée

½ tblsp Italian Mixed Herbs or a sprinkle of each of these Thyme, Marjoram, Parsley, Oregano, Sage, Basil.

2 x Beef Stock Cubes, or half tblsp beef bouillon.

1 x 700g Garlic Passata

1 x Tin Italian herb Chopped Tomatoes

200g Cheddar

Sea Salt Cracked Black Pepper to Taste


Directions


Mix 500g Minced Beef in a bowl with half the Garlic and herbs, form your meat balls,


Add the rest of your mince to a pan, fry until it completely crumbles, and falls apart around 10 minutes, add you herbs garlic, Tom Purée and Stock cubs,


Cook until combined, set to one side, fry your Meatballs until golden brown on the outside,


Combine your mince and Meatballs, give them a good stir,


Now add your Garlic Passata and chopped Tomatoes, reduce and simmer for 20 mins,


Now add a layer of Cheddar


Turn on your Grill to its maximum temperature,


Pop the Skillet under the grill for a few minutes to melt the cheese,


Now layer your Meatballs sauce and mince, on your subs, top with lashings of Cheddar on top and a Sprinkle of Parsley, pop them under the grill for a few minutes until the Cheese is bubbling.


Remove from the grill place the top back on the Sub,


Serve straight away.


The Italian Herb Garlic Potatoes


Ingredients


1 kg baby Potatoes

1 x tblsp Garlic Purée

1 x tblsp Butter

1 x tblsp Italian Mixed Herbs

Sea Salt Cracked Black Pepper to Taste


Directions


Part boiling your potatoes 10 minutes at the most,


Add to a bowl add all the ingredients mix and combine to coat the potatoes in the Garlic Herb Butter, season well.


Now add to the Air-Fryer for around 10mins at 200ºC shake half way. Enjoy
