Giant Ciabatta Sloppy Joe's Served with Aldi Inspired Cuisine Skins on Fries, and Side Salad
Now this one is absolutely delicious, I can honestly say it's one of my favourite dishes, you can even pick it up and eat it like Pizza, the taste and smell as its baking is unbelievable,
Total cost £11.37 thats £1.89 each this will generously feed 6 people,
Ingredients,
1 x Bake At Home Plain Ciabatta 300g (Large)
1 x 750g Minced Beef
1 x 250g Grated Cheddar
1 x 100g Grated Mozzarella
3 x tblsp Butter
3 x Garlic Cloves (Minced)
Parsley for Garnish
700g Garlic and Herb Passata or a Bolognese
1tsp Basil, Thyme, Oregano, Rosemary, Fennel
Sea Salt and Cracked Black Pepper (Plenty)
Directions
Start with the Mince place into a large frying pan, add the Herbs half the Garlic, Salt and Peper dry fry the mince, do not add oil on a high temperature place a lid on until its fully cooked through, Keep breaking the mince apart until its crumbles into small pieces,
Once all the liquid from the mince has cooked off keep frying it for another 5 minutes,
Add the Passata or Bolognese sauce and half a jar of water, stir thoroughly, place the lid back on and simmer for 20 minutes,
Turn the oven onto 200°C
The Ciabatta
Melt the Butter add the Minced Garlic and brush over the Ciabatta, Sprinkle half the Mozzarella and a little Cheddar onto the Ciabatta,
Once the mince is soft and has absorbed the Passata flavour, remove it from the heat, taste and add more salt and pepper if required,
Start by add the Bolognese/Mince to the Ciabatta, then drizzle over the sauce add plenty of the sauce over the top so it runs thorough the mince and into the Ciabatta,
Top with plenty of Cheddar and a little Mozzarella, drizzle over some Garlic Mayonnaise or regular Mayonnaise and Garnish with Parsley
Place it into the oven for around 30 minutes or until the Cheese is Golden Brown
Serve with or without Chips/Fries and definitely a side salad,
