Giant Cheddar & Mash Pasty

Giant Cheddar & Mash Pasty


This one is a wonderful way to use left-over mashed potatoes, and it tastes absolutely delicious,


It's so simple just warm up left over mash add add 150g Cheddar, butter Sea Salt, Cracked Black Pepper, all to taste,


2 x giant Pasties, cut into 8 portion,


Ingredients


1 x roll Puff Pastry

Left-over Mashed Potato

2 x tblsp Butter

1 x Egg

200g Cheddar

Parsley


Remove the Pastry from the fridge allow it to stand at room for around 10mins or it will crack when you unroll it,


Add your left-over Potato to a microwave safe container with a lid, heat the potatoes until piping hot around 5 minutes, Add the butter, sea salt cracked black pepper and Parsley, whisk with a fork to make them creamy, add the Cheddar and mix,


Roll out your Pastry use the baking sheet that the Pastry comes on, cut it into 4 pieces,


This will get you two giant Pasties,


Fill two sides of the pastry with the mash top with more Cheddar, seal the edge with egg, Close the Pastry,


Crimp the edges with a fork, place in the oven at 200ºC until Golden Brown,


Allow to cool for 5 minutes before eating.
