(GIANT) Branston Pickle Lincolnshire Sausage Roll


Absolutely Delicious, We couldn't get enough the pickle melts into the Pastry and the flavour infusion is unbelievable,


Ingredients

8 x Lincolnshire or Cumberland Sausages

1 x Sheet Puff Pastry

1 x Egg

Branston Pickle half a jar

Sea Salt Cracked Black Pepper


Directions


Remove the Pastry from the fridge allow it to rest at room temperature for 15 minutes before unrolling it, or it will crack,


Place the Sausages in the air fryer at 180ºC for around 10 minutes, only gently cook them as they are going in the oven,


Remove the Sausages for the air fryer cut the ends off to make them flat on the ends,


Layer the Sausages into two lines the full Length of your Pastry, add plenty of Branston Pickle down the middle then add the third layer of Sausages on top of the Branston Pickle,


Close the Giant Sausages Roll, Crimp the edge with a fork, trim if necessary, Coat the entire Sausage Roll in egg wash, Sprinkle on some Sea Salt Cracked Black Pepper,


Bake in the oven at 200ºC until Golden Brown,


Allow to rest for a few minutes before cutting into slice
