Garlic Mushrooms with Sautéed Green & Red Onions Obviously in Garlic Butter, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil,
Served with a side of Giant Garlic Butter Brioche Croutons, topped with Cheddar,
Now this is so simple to make and absolutely delicious,
Ingredients
400g Closed Cup Mushrooms
1 x Large Red Onion
1 x Large Green Onion
3 x Garlic Cloves Minced
2 x tblsp Plain Flour
1 x Vegetable Knorr stock pot
2 x tblsp Butter
½ tblsp Parsley to Garnish
1 x litre Whole Milk
¼ tspn Sea Salt
¼ tspn Cracked Black Pepper
Directions
Dice the Onions, Chop the Mushrooms in half, add the Butter Garlic, Olive Oil Salt and Pepper to a large pan, once hot add the Onion and sautée until Caramelised then add the Mushrooms,
Constantly stir until soft and Caramelised, add two tblsp of plain flour, Knorr Sock Pots, combine until it's been absorbed, do not burn it,
Now start adding the milk a little at a time, when you reach the consistency you like remove from the heat,
It's ready to serve add more salt and pepper if required,
If you want it smooth just hand blend to your desired consistency, you can also add more milk if required,
It's simple it's delicious and it only takes 10 minutes,
