Garlic Butter Seared 12oz Sirloin, with Cream Cheese Mushroom Sauce,


Served with a side of Scampi, Garlic Butter Chunky Chips,


Beer Battered Onion Rings, Mushy Peas.


And a delicious Crunchy Rainbow Salad.


My Garlic Butter Mushroom Sauce with a Dollop of Cream Cheese,


ingredients:


- 2 tablespoons butter

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced

- 250ml chicken or vegetable stock

- 60ml heavy cream

- 2 tablespoons cream cheese

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)


If you don't have cream, simply make a Roux and add cream cheese and parsley, Very similar in taste.


Here's how you can prepare the sauce:


1. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

2. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are softened and browned, about 5-7 minutes.

3. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a simmer. Allow the mixture to cook for another 5 minutes.

4. Stir in the heavy cream and cream cheese, mixing until the cream cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened slightly.

5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

6. Serve the garlic butter mushroom sauce hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.


This sauce is delicious served over Steak or Chicken.


 

Garlic Butter and Rosemary Seared Sirloin Steak:


Ingredients:

- 1 sirloin steaks

- 2 tablespoons of butter

- 2 cloves of garlic, minced

- Fresh rosemary

- Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions:

1. Take the steaks out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.

2. Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

3. In a pan over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and a few sprigs of rosemary to infuse the butter with flavor.

4. Once the butter is melted and sizzling, add the steaks to the pan. Cook the steaks for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if you prefer your steak more well-done.

5. Towards the end of cooking, baste the steaks with the garlic butter in the pan. This will add extra flavor and richness to the steaks.

6. Once the steaks are cooked to your liking, remove them from the pan and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

7. You can garnish the steaks with some more fresh rosemary if desired.

8. Enjoy your garlic butter and rosemary seared sirloin steak!
