Cowboy Pie Topped with Delicious Puff Pastry

& Served with a Bed of Parsley Mashed Potato and Seasonal Vegetables,


Total cost £6.23 that £1.03 per portion, feeds 6 people,


Now this isn't fancy cuisine but it's delicious and one of our favourite meals,


Ingredients


16x Sausages

3 x Tins Baked Beans

2 x knorr Vegetable stock pot's

2.5 kg Potatoes

1 x egg

2 x tblsp Flour

2 x tblsp Butter

1 tblsp Parsley

1 x tsp Garlic Granules

1 x tblsp Mixed herbs

½ tsp of each Sea Salt Cracked Black Pepper or to taste,


Directions


Chop the Sausages into bite sized pieces, add to a large frying pan, add a little olive oil, Sea Salt and Cracked Black Pepper, and the Garlic,


Gently fry until golden brown, add the flour and combine, add 1ltr of boiling water with the knorr stock pot's, and the 3 tins of baking beans, allow to simmer for around 20 to 30 minutes on a low heat until it thickens, make sure to keep stirring or it will burn the beans at the bottom,


Peal chop and boil the mash, once done add the Butter, Parsley Sea Salt Cracked Black Pepper and really cream them up, set to one side,


Fill the Casserole Dishes to the top, with the cowboy Pie filling, top with Puff Pastry, brush on plenty of egg,


Place in the oven at 200ºC until the Pasty is Golden Brown,


Remove from the oven allow to rest for 10 minutes,


Serve with the Parsley Mashed Potato and vegetables of your choice,
