Cottage Pie (Portion Control)


So in an effort for affordable Meals with absolutely no waste,


I decided to buy single Portion Casserole Pot's,

It makes perfect sense to only make only what you need, why use a huge Casserole dish only for two or three Portions to be left over, with every intention of eating it another day, but it either sits in the fridge until its binned or in the freezer for months,


So I found the perfect Casserole Dishes, they are the perfect size, and everyone gets a pot each,


I decided to make Cottage Pie as its one of my favourite dishes, the mince I cooked dry no added oil with three Garlic Cloves, Sea Salt and Cracked Black Pepper, Once fully cooked I add Beef Bouillon to form a gravy,


The Mashed Potato I added half a bag of Chedder Cheese, large Dollop of salted butter, Cup of milk and Creamed them until Smooth, Topped them with the rest of the Chedder, and bake in the oven at 200°C until Golden Brown,


This really is a cheaper option once you have purchased your dishes, the whole meal to feed five people only cost me £7.36 from Aldi, it works out alot cheaper, you also only use what you need, and the pie was delicious,
