Carrot Soup With Sautéed Green & Red Onions in Garlic Butter, Served with Cheddar Infused, Garlic Chive & Parsley Loaf, and Sprinkle of Parmesan
So now unfortunately Mother is under the Weather, she's obviously caught whatever Father had,
So I'm Soup making again & Delivering Obviously,
And I had to try a small bowl myself with Cheese on Toast for Dipping
Ingredients
The Soup
10 x Carrots
1 x Large Potato
2 x Large Red Onion
2 x Large Green Onion
1.5ltr Boiling water
2 x Knorr Vegetable stock pot's
2 x tblsp Butter
1 x tblsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3 x Garlic Cloves or 1tbsp Granules
1 x tspn Garlic & Herb Grinder, check photos
Sea Salt Cracked Black Pepper to taste
Add the Butter Garlic & Seasonings to a pan, Cook the Onions and potatoes until completely Caramelised and soft, then add the carrots, gently cook for around 30 minutes to release the Caramelised flavours, now add the stock and simmer for 30 minutes,
Blend and serve obviously with Cheese on Toast, add more Seasoning to taste, top with Parmesan or Cheddar if you prefer,
Ingredients
The Bread
500g Premium White Bread mix
320ml Hot Water (Not Boiling)
1 x tblsp Lazy Garlic or Granules
1 x tblsp Chives
100g Grated Cheddar
1 x tblsp Parsley
½ tspn Sea Salt
½ tspn Cracked Black Pepper
Everything goes into the bread maker set at 3 hours on medium crust,
Cut into Chunky Slices Toast it with Cheese on and serve with the Soup,
